Attar
An oil-based, alcohol-free concentrate. Applied in small amounts directly to skin, it tends to wear longer and stay closer to the body.
Eau de parfum (EDP)
An alcohol-based spray, typically 15-20% fragrance concentrate. It projects further initially but the alcohol evaporates faster than an oil base.
Which should you choose?
If you prefer a fragrance that stays close and lasts through the day without reapplying, attar suits you better. If you like an initial burst of scent that others notice, EDP may feel more familiar.
