How to apply attar so it lasts all day

Attar is concentrated, oil-based perfumery — it behaves differently on skin than an alcohol-based spray, and applying it the same way wastes both fragrance and longevity.

1. Apply to pulse points

Wrists, the base of the neck and behind the ears carry natural warmth that helps the fragrance open and develop through the day.

2. Dab, don't rub

Rubbing wrists together breaks down the fragrance's top notes and shortens its life on skin. Let a single drop warm and settle naturally.

3. Less is more

A single drop of Rih Al-Saba per pulse point is enough — attar is far more concentrated than eau de parfum, so it projects further per drop than you'd expect.

4. Reapply, don't layer heavily

If it fades by evening, a light second application refreshes it — you rarely need more than you started with.
